Full of Potential

Hello Friends,

Bulletin Board Window

The Lord blessed me with a brand new bulletin board this week, a lovely board that my friends, Tim and Barbie Poling, custom made for me and hung in my new office “hideaway.”

My room has a large window that provides a useless view of an ugly storage space in the fire exit next to my room. My desk sits right next to it and while the window was covered with mini-blinds, it really was a waste of precious space when there wasn’t another wall on which to hang a bulletin board. So with brainstorming begun, I started to feel a bit of excitement at the potential of all the planning I could do with my new bulletin board.

Paper Border

Tim glued cork board to white foam core board and Barbie added scrapbook paper to decorate the space on both sides of the board. Next, Barbie removed the blinds and covered the top half of the window with newsprint paper, mounted the board on the bottom half, and voila! I have a transformed and useful wall!

Shower Curtain

Jim is going to hang a curtain rod, while I adapt a pretty shower curtain to hang over the top part of the window, and add a bit of trim on the outer edges of the bulletin board to frame it. I’ll show you a picture of the finished project in a later letter.

I’m already liking my brand new bulletin board! It’s so full of potential!

Full of Potential

I’m anticipating the increase of productivity for my business and ministry now that I have a dedicated work space. Even though it’s the first time I’ve had an out-of-home office space (and I’d much rather be at home), I’m really grateful to have a hideaway place where I can be productive. I’ve been scrambling and barely pulling things together since I restarted my work for our local 7 Seasons to LYFE pilot program last year, creating two new public websites, and now the members only website, LOLACHE, which calls for weekly productivity.

Through our conference calls, we are producing four new hours of audio teachings each month, two that are free to the public, and two in-depth seminars just for LOLACHE members to provide regular support and instruction to Lifestyle of Learning™ families. For the first time in seven years, I actually have the hope of getting organized again, and being able to lay my hands on things I need for my work, and becoming much more efficient at it too!

New Seminar Project!

The first new project I’m preparing at my hideaway for members of LOLACHE is an 8-part monthly seminar series, “The Heart of the Learning Process.”

Our children are so full of potential! Through the inborn unique creative profile of traits God placed within each one, they are motivated to find and shape their destiny. It’s our honor as parents to know our children well enough to validate their unique heart-beat and help them find their way. God provides wisdom to help us keep them on a straight path of vital growth and learning. The monthly seminar began yesterday, Tuesday. If you missed it and still want to get in on these inspiring calls, you can still join LOLACHE today and listen to the call later through the download we provide at the site. Here is the outline of the topics we’ll be discussing in the coming months.
